Shitzus

Are you a Shitzu lover or do you know someone who is? There are some things you may not know about these dogs. Shitzuss originated from China and they are bred in the Forbidden City by the leading Dynasties of China. There is not just one type of Shitzu, there are a couple of different kinds. The two different kinds of Shitzus are the European Shitzu and the American Shitzu. The American Shitzus back legs are higher than their front legs.

The European Shitzus legs are smaller and are held further apart and they look slightly bent. They really look totally different from one another. The American Shitzu also has a flatter nose than the European Shitzu. These dogs are generally tiny, full size Shitzus grows to about 8 to 11 inches it will not grow any bigger in height. Shitzus are very good companions and good dogs to play with. These dogs are very good with children.

They are not the type of dog that usually chew on furniture or other objects. These dogs are good for people with allergies because they shed very little. A dogs hair can cause allergies to flair up and cause problems. Shitzus can be expensive, but most say it is worth it. They can be trusted not to mess up furniture or hurt children. Most of all they are very loving and helpful dogs. So, go down to a pet shop closest to you and buy yourself a cute little Shitzu.
