White Magic

Obviously, white magic is the opposite of black magic. White magic is good and healing. The purpose of white magic is to further the spiritual, material, and cultural evolution of humanity. It revolves around the seven rays or chakras. The seven rays have the ability to reach humanity. White magic’s chakras are part of the Hindu religion in India.

The concept of the seven rays began with its founder, the Greek philosopher, Theosophy. He believed that you could unite all religions with a common purpose. The common purpose is a spiritual evolution. Theosophy’s philosophy, which deals with the seven rays of white magic, was furthered by Alice A. Bailey. Alice A. Bailey (1880 – 1949) was an influential teacher and writer whose books describe the spiritual, the occult, soul-based healing or esoteric healing, astrology, Theosophical philosophy, Christianity, and other religious themes.

Each of the seven rays has a specific purpose. Here is what each ray represents: First Ray, Will-Power; Second Ray, Love-Wisdom; Third Ray, Active Intelligence; Forth Ray, Harmony through conflict; Fifth Ray, Concrete Science; Sixth Ray, Love-Devotion; and the Seventh Ray represents Ceremonial Order. It is believed that practitioners of white magic can control the seven rays in order to bring about spiritual, material, and cultural evolution. White magic could only be performed by those who are pure of heart, mind, and body. Anyone who was selfish would corrupt white magic, and would turn it into black magic.
